Service dogs for military veterans

Shaye Lynne Haver is one of the first two women, along with CPT Kristen Griest, to ever graduate from the US Army Ranger School, which took place on 21 August 2015. Haver continued to break barriers in her career, becoming one of the first female infantry commanders when she took command of Company C, 1st Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment in 2018. That same year, she was inducted into the U.S. Army Women’s Foundation Hall of Fame. As of 2023, Haver serves as a major in the 3rd Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) in Washington, D.C., continuing her legacy of leadership and service.
