We are very excited to partner with Clear Path for Veterans New England whose mission is to empower service members,Veterans, and their families through supportive programs and services in a safe, respectful environment. Clear Path’s vision is to create a community that understands and supports the journey home for our Veterans and their families and inspires other communities to do the same. Both Toka's Friends and Clear Path for Veterans NE believe in the healing powers of dogs for veterans. Together, we hope to provide service dogs to veterans who may be suffering from PTSD,TBI or other related challenges.

Toka's Friends is fortunate to have formed a partnership with Rachel and Tommy Canastra of South Coast Labradors. Their line of labs has thus far provided us with 6 great dogs and counting. By providing us with these special dogs at a discounted rate, South Coast Labradors have been instrumental to the success of Toka's Friends. We look forward to having many more of their dogs in the future.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE) is an international non-profit organization uniting fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth, justice, and equality, to make human life more desirable by lessening its ills and promoting peace, prosperity, gladness and hope. The state of Massachusetts has 21 FOE aeries (clubs) and each year the state organization chooses one non-profit organization to support. Incoming FOE MA State Worthy President (and Buzzards Bay Aerie President) Jim McCormack chose Toka's Friends to be the 2024 benefitting charity for the state of Massachusetts. We are grateful for our partnership with FOE and their generous support of our mission to help military veterans.
For their annual fundraiser, the Buzzard Bay Aerie sponsors a canal walk at the Buzzards Bay Canal. This year’s walk will be held on Saturday, May 18th. Click here for more information.
